Let’s celebrate the debut of the Playbux mobile application on May 23, which is the first exclusive mobile application event, Walk to Earn. Anyone can join the event by downloading the app and logging in using their Pre-Alpha event account. How do I join?

Getting involved is pretty simple. Simply click the Walk to Earn icon in the mobile application, and a map with your Bux at the starting point will appear. By clicking the “Take a Walk” button, you are able to take 1 step every day for free. Each step needs to be submitted along with a little gas fee and on-chain transaction.

When you reach a step, you can receive the reward that is indicated above it. Only the next two steps are displayed in the awards, which are random. The next reward will come at random when you successfully move forward.

There are some special actions in the table that do not come with a reward but provide you with extra actions. Such as additional move with One step forward, two steps forward and three steps forward, and double the next step reward.

By spending some BRK, you can walk more than one step every day. The second step needs 1 BRK, and each following step requires multiplying by 2 BRK. See the example below.

Weekly Competition

Every week, the Walk to Earn will be reset. The total BRK contributed by each participant for the duration of the week will be added up as a total weekly points. Then the weekly points will be distributed among the top 50 walkers based on distance. The proportion of the given portion is shown below.

Weekly points can be used by winners to redeem rewards. such as many exclusive NFT or PBUX token. The exchangeable prizes will shortly be made public after the launch of PBUX token.

NFT Use Case

The event will include use cases of Playbux NFT. This is the holders’ second benefit following the airdrop event. You can change your equipment before the walk, and the rarity of the equipped NFT increases your chances of doubling the step. The more rare the NFT you have, the greater your chances of moving and collecting greater benefits.

This mechanic will be deployed in phase 2, which will begin a few weeks after the debut.
